A book of prayers to the Holy Face of Jesus

7/13/23  All of creation is for our use,   Not for our worship.All glory and honor is in, and to God alone!  It is therefore through the  grace of gratitude for the gifts,  The Power of prayer and peace,  The armor of abstinence,  The love for love already given,  and the love always with us,  that we give Thanks!  Stand always in the presence of God and seek his Holy Facein the Eternal now,    where the heavens are open and our prayers are united. Let our hearts be circumcised to Christ and detached from the world.  Seek the simple and profound wisdom and path in  knowing that all is goodness and grace that comes from God.  Therefore with a contrite heart, we live in the Divine Will of the Father!  Peace, Joy, and Serenity permeate in this place,  on earth as it is in heaven!  Seek it always and give glory to God in all things.  With Christ as Savior and KingLet Grace abound in you,  through him, with him, and in him,  by the Power of the Holy Spirit, for the glory and honor of God the Father!  We are saved by grace!  Be now instruments of grace,  so that God who is all goodness and grace be glorified,  praised, and honored,  on earth as it is in heaven! Colossians 2:1-3:172:1-231 For I want you to know how greatly I strive for you, and for those at La-odice′a, and for all who have not seen my face, 2 that their hearts may be encouraged as they are knit together in love, to have all the riches of assured understanding and the knowledge of God’s mystery, of Christ, 3 in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 4 I say this in order that no one may delude you with beguiling speech. 5 For though I am absent in body, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the firmness of your faith in Christ.Fullness of Life in Christ6 As therefore you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so live in him, 7 rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.8 See to it that no one makes a prey of you by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the universe, and not according to Christ. 9 For in him the whole fulness of deity dwells bodily, 10 and you have come to fulness of life in him, who is the head of all rule and authority. 11 In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of flesh in the circumcision of Christ; 12 and you were buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. 13 And you, who were dead in trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 14 having canceled the bond which stood against us with its legal demands; this he set aside, nailing it to the cross. 15 He disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public example of them, triumphing over them in him.16 Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a sabbath. 17 These are only a shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ. 18 Let no one disqualify you, insisting on self-abasement and worship of angels, taking his stand on visions, puffed up without reason by his sensuous mind, 19 and not holding fast to the Head, from whom the whole body, nourished and knit together through its joints and ligaments, grows with a growth that is from God.Warnings against False Teachers20 If with Christ you died to the elemental spirits of the universe, why do you live as if you still belonged to the world? Why do you submit to regulations, 21 “Do not handle, Do not taste, Do not touch” 22 (referring to things which all perish as they are used), according to human precepts and doctrines? 23 These have indeed an appearance of wisdom in promoting rigor of devotion and self-abasement and severity to the body, but they are of no value in checking the indulgence of the flesh.The New Life in Christ3:1-171 If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. 3 For you have died, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.5 Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: fornication, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 On account of these the wrath of God is coming.7 In these you once walked, when you lived in them. 8 But now put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and foul talk from your mouth. 9 Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old nature with its practices 10 and have put on the new nature, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator. 11 Here there cannot be Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scyth′ian, slave, free man, but Christ is all, and in all.12 Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, and patience, 13 forbearing one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. 14 And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. 15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teach and admonish one another in all wisdom, and sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. 

6/16/23  Meekness and humility are the formative foundations needed to withstand the irritation, and shock of the evils and passions of the world!  Serenity is compromised along with our interior and exterior peace!  Calmness of judgement is also at risk, and often yields to the spirits of anger and fear!  This is pride at its root, the sin of Satan!   Matthew 11:29“Learn of Me, because I am meek and humble of heart!” 

6/8/23  Fear of the Lord and a Spirit of Atonement,   convergence and fusion in the Sacred and Divine,  With reverence for the power, the glory, and the mercy  of our most loving and forgiving Father!  This is the order in which we should approach the heavenly realms,  and the glory of the God and Father!     Gods divine nature exceeds his created creature of time.  Unify your spirit with the heavenly realms beyond time and death.  Reach now with the spiritual realm of reality for the higher gifts and  unite with our heavenly brethren in the angels and the saints.  The spiritual community of unity and harmony with loved ones,  and all those worthy of sainthood and our angelic brotherhood,  all united through Christ our King,  to the glory and honor of God the Father, through the power of the Holy Spirit! Light and Love manifested!  John 15:1-27 (DR)"I am the true vine; and my Father is the husbandman.  Every branch in me, that beareth not fruit, he will take away:   and every one that beareth fruit, he will purge it, that it may bring forth more fruit.  Now you are clean by reason of the word, which I have spoken to you.  Abide in me, and I in you.   As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abide in the vine,   so neither can you, unless you abide in me.  I am the vine: you the branches:   he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit:   for without me you can do nothing.  If any one abide not in me, he shall be cast forth as a branch,   and shall wither, and they shall gather him up, and cast him into the fire, and he burneth.   If you abide in me, and my words abide in you,   you shall ask whatever you will, and it shall be done unto you.  In this is my Father glorified; that you bring forth very much fruit, and become my disciples.As the Father hath loved me, I also have loved you.   Abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love;   as I also have kept my Father's commandments, and do abide in his love.These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you,  and your joy may be filled.   This is my commandment, that you love one another,   as I have loved you.Greater love than this no man hath,   that a man lay down his life for his friends.You are my friends, if you do the things that I command you.  I will not now call you servants: for the servant knoweth not what his lord doth.   But I have called you friends:   because all things whatsoever I have heard of my Father,   I have made known to you.You have not chosen me: but I have chosen you;   and have appointed you, that you should go,   and should bring forth fruit; and your fruit should remain:   that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.  These things I command you, that you love one another.  If the world hate you, know ye, that it hath hated me before you.   If you had been of the world, the world would love its own:   but because you are not of the world,   but I have chosen you out of the world,   therefore the world hateth you. Remember my word that I said to you:  The servant is not greater than his master.   If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you:  if they have kept my word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for my name's sake:  because they know not him who sent me.If I had not come, and spoken to them, they would not have sin;   but now they have no excuse for their sin.He that hateth me, hateth my Father also.  If I had not done among them the works that no other man hath done,   they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father.   But that the word may be fulfilled which is written in their law:  They hated me without cause.But when the Paraclete cometh,  whom I will send you from the Father, the Spirit of truth,  who proceedeth from the Father,   he shall give testimony of me.And you shall give testimony,   because you are with me from the beginning." 

6/6/23  Free Will surrendered into Gods Divine Will becomes purged in grace.  It takes on the Divine life in every thought, word and act.  We flow in union with the grace and harmony of the universe in tandem with the Will of the Father!  It can be no less than perfect if we cooperate with grace.  It is not ours to understand,   It is our to obey!  Love is selfless.  Love is meek and humble,  Grace is grandeur when love begets love.  The flow of grace in union and harmony with God’s creation,  and with God himself can be nothing less than perfect!  Docility seeks grace.  Docility seeks harmony.  Docility seeks the Will of the Father.  It is reverence.  It is obedience.  It is love in God’s own Divine Nature.  It seeks peace and joy and Serenity.  It is a heart in harmony  It is the pulse of peace  It is the soul of grace  It is a mind in union with God  It is acts of obedience and love    “My Adorable JesusMay our feet journey togetherMay our hands gather in unityMay our hearts beat as oneMay our souls be in harmony May our thoughts be as oneMay our ears listen to the silence togetherMay our glances profoundly penetrate each otherMay our lips pray together to gain mercy from the Eternal Father”  John 15:5 (RSV) "I am the vine, you are the branches.   He who abides in me, and I in him,   he it is that bears much fruit,   for apart from me you can do nothing." 

6/4/23  Our role in acts of reparation and prayer intercession on behalf of ourselves and others, 1st involves a deep and sincere act of contrition!  Catechism of the Council of Trent defines Contrition which is the 1st part of penance!  Sincerity Intimacy Remorse  Sorrow  A deep desire to amend  Love Faith, Hope, and Charity  Are Now resolved to  Complete Trust  Conviction to Christ Perfect Charity - Divine Love Love is Divinized when it is self sacrificing The work therefore of the prayer Intercessor is Divine intimacy and Divine Mercy by acts of Divine Love.  Prayer is the greatest gift we can ever give or receive!   By prayerful, and heartfelt requests with intense sorrow and remorse for our sins and the sins of another we begin the process of reparation with our Father and Creator! Contrition is the forerunner of righteousness.Our greatest act therefore is the act of contrition.  With firm resolve by our own “acts” of prayer, penance, self sacrifice, and good will, we become the healing balm, the peacemakers, and the light of the world where darkness can no longer exist!  Regardless of the threats, torment, and ugliness that encompass the dark world of sin, death and destruction,God’s luminous light will shine through us,the glorious countenance of the bright and glorious Face of Christ Jesus Will permeate from us,  and darkness will exist no more! Peace and Joy and Serenity are all that will remain!  Matthew 5:1-20The Beatitudes 5:1-12“And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain, and when he was set down, his disciples came unto him. And opening his mouth he taught them, saying: Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are the meek: for they shall possess the land. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice: for they shall have their fill. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the clean of heart: they shall see God.  Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they that suffer persecution for justice' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye when they shall revile you, and persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my sake:  Be glad and rejoice for your reward is very great in heaven.For so they persecuted the prophets that were before you."The Disciples Compares to Salt and Light 5:13-14“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt lose its savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is good for nothing anymore but to be cast out, and to be trodden on by men. You are the light of the world. A city seated on a mountain cannot be hid.”The Old Law and the New 5:17-20“Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but upon a candlestick, that it may shine to all that are in the house. So let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Do not think that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets. I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For amen I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot, or one tittle shall not pass of the law, till all be fulfilled. He therefore that shall break one of these least commandments, and shall so teach men shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven. But he that shall do and teach, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you, that unless your justice abound more than that of the scribes and Pharisees,  you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.”
