Sweet As Honey
A Loving Beekeeper and Their Bees. Are You Staying Busy? Sweet as honey. It is said that honey can and has been preserved for thousands of years! It has been called “The Nectar Of The Gods” and the process by which honey is produced is an incredible testament to its place in life and the Universe. You see, all flowering and fruit-bearing plants require bees to extract the nectar and, as they do so and go plant to plant, pollinate them to produce fruit! Without this pollination process, the flower would stay dormant, wither and die. These busy bees extract from the bloom nectar which is collected and taken back to the source hive to become sweet honey! This is a vital life function, necessary for all of us! About one-third of the human diet is derived from insect-pollinated plants and honey bees are responsible for 80 percent of this. So it is with us in our life journey and spiritual growth process. In order for us to bear fruit, we need to give of ourselves nectar to make sweet honey, and the honey bee in return leaves pollen, which allows us then to produce fruit. When we give of ourselves by attending mass and sharing of ourselves with others, sweet honey is made and we in turn receive pollen (Christ in the Eucharist) so that we may produce good and abundant fruit. Without either of these (participation in the Mass and the Eucharist) there is no lasting honey and how can we hope to produce fruit? And where does that leave you at the harvest?

Organic or Mechanic
Caution – Slippery Slope Ahead!Organic or mechanic. Do yourself a favor the next time you are at a busy airport. Turn off your phone and electronic devices, put them in your bag or your pocket, and quietly observe everyone else! Note how little social interaction you see despite it being one of the most crowded atmospheres we encounter! Watch how mechanical people appear as they gaze into their devices and have very little movement beyond their thumbs or fingertips on the keyboard! Those that are actively speaking are talking into these same mechanical devices! An occasional word might be spoken to a spouse or significant other if they are with a traveling companion! Watch how little interaction there is between parents and their children! All this constant electronic stimuli is seriously undermining our ability to interact with others, to have the privilege to socially and soulfully interact with others, even with those we love! We are compromising our ability to know, love, and understand at a core and very profound level! All soul source interaction is a necessary and fundamental element to our ability to evolve as living spiritual beings! We compromise that every time we tap or type on that phone! We dampen and undermine our children’s evolutionary need to be understood, to learn, to be nurtured and loved! Every time we run to that phone or respond to that text, we prioritize! Stay rooted and remember phones can’t laugh, can’t cry, can’t comfort and can’t love! “Listen to the Word, understand knowledge, love life, and no one will persecute you and no one will oppress you other than yourselves.” –Secret Book of St James

Love and the Innocence of a Child
Love And The Innocence Of A Child Funny how a two-year-old can bring you back to the core reality of life and love. How the innocence of a child can touch us in ways nothing else can. How through the teaching and nurturing process we get responses that touch us to the core. I call that pure love, a boundless love that elevates us and keeps us grounded to the most basic and most rewarding feelings! God is pure Love. So the further we are from God, the further we are from Love! When we love someone so much that we want the very best and would do anything to help make that happen, then we should also recognize that we are not in control. We should know that we want that child to feel the all-knowing, all loving presence of God! We want that child to have His protection, His mercy, and grace and His pure love! We also need to preserve our own innocence, so we can readily receive God’s, pure love! When God is in the mix, pure love is also and the reason why faith and family need to co-exist! “Truly I tell you, anyone, who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” Luke 18:17 “He called a little child to him and placed the child among them. And he said: ‘Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.'” Mathew 18:2-4

Happy Father's Day! Love on Steroids - A Heightened Experience of Love
Happy Father’s Day 2016! I remember my wife telling me after our firstborn, that she was so in love with our son that she didn’t think she would have the capacity to love more as we were expecting our second child and then our third. But each time her love magically and exponentially grew! Now with three grandchildren and two more on the way, her love and her capacity to love flowers even more! We can never experience the deepest feelings of love without God’s presence. We get close when we experience the birth of a child and see the miracle of a new life created in our own image. And just as we are created in God’s image, he too shares a father’s love for us! But until we give love to Him in return that circle of love is never complete! You see love can only be given and not taken! That is why the Father has given us free will! Free will to say yes to him and to empty ourselves and open us up to be capable of so much more love than we ever thought possible. Love on steroids! When we reach out for God’s love we experience something even more special. A super heightened experience of love…it’s called Grace! Remember Father’s Day. Remember our Father!
