Love, Supernatural and Divine
Love, Supernatural and Divine. We are all capable of Loving and being good, but to love One’s neighbor without loving God, is built on a falsehood that undermines its true potential! Only the love of God elevates our love for others to its purest and supernatural state! Divine Love is that which is truly selfless, it’s one that makes even large sacrifices seem petty to allow it to manifest to it’s full potential! Supernatural and Divine love emanates from those who possess it! You can see an inner peace and joy that radiates! It sheds all darkness and pulls us in with a yearning to be a part of that experience. All saintly souls have this supernatural and divine love. Humble, sincere, but rock solid. A rock solid foundation in complete unison with God! When we strive through prayer and penance to experience God’s supernatural and divine love, and live it each day, our world and the world of others we encounter is better! When we have a God centric love of neighbor, no force can diminish it or break it! We can truly “change the world.” And just imagine marriages and families built on a foundation of selfless, supernatural and divine love with God in the middle of the mix! Saintly Perfection and Grace — Unstoppable!

Children Learn Best From Their Parents
Children copy their parents through watching them and talking to them and they learn their own language through hearing them speak. We learn our trade skills by watching our master at work. It takes reverent study, careful reading and a willing guide to teach us! Imagine if we made the same conscious effort to hone our Christian virtues by a steady, relentless study of our Lord and Master through His life, through his examples, and through the scriptural readings of the teaching lessons He provided us all! According to Wikipedia, “Advent” is a season observed in many Christian churches as a time of expectant waiting and preparation for the celebration of the Nativity of Jesus at Christmas. The term is a version of the Latin word meaning “coming.” If the Lord were coming to your household this Christmas, what would He find there? What would your children know and understand about the true meaning of Christmas! What Christian virtues have you learned from your parents about Christmas that have yet to be “handed down” to your own children? With the Coming of Advent, let’s take the time to “re-learn” and “teach up” the real meaning of Christmas in our households!

What's Wrong with This Picture?
Focus. Can Your Vision and Love Be Clearer? What’s wrong with this picture? I think we are all weary from the constant fighting, rioting, bickering, and indifference that we see every day! What do you witness every time you turn on the news or interact in social media? I see anger and judgement. Or to put it as in the movie, The Sixth Sense, “I see dead people!” Where is the Love? We are dead to the gift and the treasure of Love! I also see people passing judgement! God FORBIDS us to judge others! That right is reserved to him, and to him alone! We need to fight the urge to judge others! Instead return wrongs and wrong doing with Love!So What is wrong with this picture? In John 15:12 the last thing Christ tells us is to “LOVE one another, as I have loved you!” This starts best in the home and in the family! Men, when is the last time you told your spouse or your kids you love them? When did you last tell them, how much you really, really love them! Are you critical and condescending or are you encouraging and offering praise? Do you love your spouse and children, enough to die for them? If you believe that, then are you setting an example with your prayers and by being a living example of Christianity, so you can save their souls along with your own? If they don’t learn from you how to live in sync with God’s greater plan for eternal life, then from whom? Love starts in the Home! A Love for God and a Love for Family! Pray and tell God how much you love him, then give your spouse and kids a hug, and tell them the same thing! You’ll feel better and so will they! Oh, And leave the News off for a couple of nights! That’s just depressing!
