Peace and Unity

5/12/22  Peace  The message is Peace and Unity  Freedom to worship!  Freedom to raise our children on God’s plan not under oppression and mind control.  The world the flesh and devil are never enough!  They will always be dragged into “more” and there will never be true satisfaction and there will never be peace.  We will always be dragged or coerced from our prayers and our peace.  Especially peace in the family and in marriages.  We must militate against the forces that disrupt and corrupt peace and harmony within the family.  Peace that must first come within the heart.  Peace and fear are enemies!  Fear and death are bedfellows.  Peace and courageous love are the overcomers!  Self sacrificing love and peaceful prayer are the response needed in the heart that opens the door for the peace of Christ, the luminous light of the Father, and the Flame  of  Love of the Holy Spirit to be fully and ever present there!  Our Hearts and our homes must be a worthy dwelling place of the peace and light and love of the Triune God!  The Spirit of Family, the Holy Family, emulated with these gifts and graces!  Reflect for a moment on the birth of Christ!   It was darkness, bitter cold and the poorest and meekest conditions!  It became the first dwelling place of Peace and Love!  Revealed to shepherds in the field through the celebrating angels and the humility of Mary and Joseph!  This moment is known as the “fullness of time” when the Redeemer came in innocence and poverty and humility!   Salvation came in the silence of the night, in meek and humble circumstances and he brought peace!Christ is still with us, he has maintained his Eucharistic reign and the King sits in the tabernacle of his Holy Temple, ministered by the princes of his church and these Shepherd’s on a daily basis call down manna from Heaven and he feeds his flock the “essential food of our Spiritual existence!” Where is the flock?  We must 1st come to Christ to be one with Christ, to unite with Christ! The King bears gifts for the Kingdom so that not one single sheep will be lost! They are the sacraments that strengthen us, that make certain we do not lose sight of the Shepherd and so we can recognize his voice! There are imposters, wolves in sheep’s clothing who pine for your attention, who distort your time and attention away from the Shepherd and his voice! We lose our way!We lose focus! We starve our souls! We slip into a spiritual desert and lose the living waters the soul thirsts for!Open and reawaken our eyes and ears!It is in Eucharistic adoration and the daily sacrament of the mass!It is in the confessional where we unbind ourselves of the strongholds that choke off the graces God longs to give us!Unbind yourselves and seek God’s grace, and the peace and unity of Christ!Take solace in the silence of the songThe pause between the notesWhere serenity and Joy are intertwined to become the fullness of God’s grand symphony! The glorious separation that invites spiritual harmony in the songWhen space and time are in harmony and unityThe place where soul and grace uniteYou will always find it in the presence of God!Seek God’s presence in the quiet of prayer, the silence of adoration where God speaks to us in a whisper!Seek silence and God’s presence in your hearts, in your family!Stay rooted or you will be swept away by the noise the chaos and the fear, that seeks to hijack your soul and your attention away from God!

 Sun Scorched

5/7/22  Whether you are snow blind or sun scorched, darkness won’t be allowed to exist.  The Flame  of Love and God’s luminous light will shine!  God is about to turn up the heat and the brightness of his countenance is about to be revealed!  Stop clinging to darkness!  There is no hope in darkness!  Let God’s light illuminate you and warm your hearts,  Not blind you and burn you!  Repent and prepare for God’s return!  Let his second coming be glorious and a time of great joy not of great shame!  God is about to bring light and the Flame of his love into the world!  For some it will be glorious light!  For others it will blind and burn!  Wisdom 1:1-16(DR)An exhortation to seek God sincerely, who cannot be deceived, and desires not our death.Justice is the Key to Life “Love justice, you that are the judges of the earth.    Think of the Lord in goodness, and seek him in simplicity of heart: For he is found by them that tempt him not: and he sheweth himself to them that have faith in him.    For perverse thoughts separate from God: and his power, when it is tried, reproveth the unwise: For wisdom will not enter into a malicious soul, nor dwell in a body subject to sins.    For the Holy Spirit of discipline will flee from the deceitful, and will withdraw himself from thoughts that are without understanding, and he shall not abide when iniquity cometh in.    For the spirit of wisdom is benevolent, and will not acquit the evil speaker from his lips: for God is witness of his reins, and he is a true searcher of his heart, and a hearer of his tongue. For the Spirit of the Lord hath filled the whole world: and that which containeth all things, hath knowledge of the voice. Therefore he that speaketh unjust things, cannot be hid, neither shall the chastising judgment pass him by. For inquisition shall be made into the thoughts of the ungodly, and the hearing of his words shall come to God, to the chastising of his iniquities.  For the ear of jealousy heareth all things, and the tumult of murmuring shall not be hid. Keep yourselves, therefore, from murmuring, which profiteth nothing, and refrain your tongue from detraction, for an obscure speech shall not go for nought: and the mouth that belieth, killeth the soul. Seek not death in the error of your life, neither procure ye destruction by the works of your hands. For God made not death, neither hath he pleasure in the destruction of the living. For he created all things that they might be: and he made the nations of the earth for health: and there is no poison of destruction in them, nor kingdom of hell upon the earth. For justice is perpetual and immortal. But the wicked with works and words have called it to them: and esteeming it a friend, have fallen away and have made a covenant with it: because they are worthy to be of the part thereof.

Transcendence

5-6-22We live in a body of exile. A vessel of clay. Fragile and weak. But of enough substance to carry the spirit of God dwelling within. And carry it we do on a journey in this realm of time. Seeking the grace to fosterThe fire and the light of Christ The peace of his Spirit united with him in heartbeat In harmony of soul In thought, word, and deed. We seek the higher gifts. And unity with our God Which transcends this physical body and the realm of time in which we dwell. It is in this spirit of Soul that we take comfort and serenity And find purpose and destiny Which is not of this world.    Let the peace of Christ remain forever in our Hearts. May the Holy Spirit rest always in the purity of our souls, And May our minds be ever reverent to our God so that the Father may receive always the glory and honor of the creator who is as intimate as he is infinite! He is light and love beyond our understanding, and beyond measure. He is God the Father. And we are his children, made in his own image! Love manifested! Now with humility and docility act as such!  2 Corinthians 5:1-10, DRReward After Death For we know, if our earthly house of this habitation be dissolved, that we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in heaven.   For in this also we groan, desiring to be clothed upon with our habitation that is from heaven.   Yet so that we be found clothed, not naked.   For we also, who are in this tabernacle, do groan, being burthened; because we would not be unclothed, but clothed upon, that that which is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now he that maketh us for this very thing is God, who hath given us the pledge of the Spirit, Therefore having always confidence, knowing that while we are in the body we are absent from the Lord. (For we walk by faith and not by sight.)   But we are confident and have a good will to be absent rather from the body and to be present with the Lord. And therefore we labour, whether absent or present, to please him.   For we must all be manifested before the judgment seat of Christ, that every one may receive the proper things of the body, according as he hath done, whether it be good or evil.”

Time and Eternity

The Temple Guards

5/5/22  Time is a temporal realm!  It has beginning and an end.  Time is a created creature of God.  It is a temporary dwelling place for our immortal souls!  Our bodies and the earthly environment in which we live must be cultivated, and nurtured. Our Bodies are a temple. 1 Corinthians 3:16"Know you not, that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?"It must structured with a foundation with Christ as it’s cornerstone and with his Throne in our hearts!  A treasure house for God’s gifts and his grace!  It is and will always be a house of peace and love!  A house given of our own free Will to the glory and honor of God!  And because we have declared and have treated it as a Holy Dwelling place of Our God, it becomes the bedrock of his Holy Church with Christ as it’s cornerstone, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against!  His church, and all the living stones within it, will stand the test of time, and become the eternal dwelling place, United with our God!   2 Machabee’s 3:1-40Heliodorus is sent by king Seleucus to take away the treasures deposited in the temple. He is struck by God, and healed by the prayers of the high priest. An Attempt To Plunder the Temple 3:1-22“Therefore, when the holy city was inhabited with all peace, and the laws as yet were very well kept, because of the godliness of Onias, the high priest and the hatred his soul had of evil, It came to pass that even the kings themselves and the princes esteemed the place worthy of the highest honour, and glorified the temple with very great gifts: So that Seleucus, king of Asia, allowed out of his revenues all the charges belonging to the ministry of the sacrifices. But one Simon, of the tribe of Benjamin, who was appointed overseer of the temple, strove in opposition to the high priest, to bring about some unjust thing in the city. And when he could not overcome Onias, he went to Apollonius, the son of Tharseas, who at that time was governor of Celesyria, and Phenicia: And told him, that the treasury in Jerusalem was full of immense sums of money, and the common store was infinite, which did not belong to the account of the sacrifices: and that it was possible to bring all into the king's hands. Now when Apollonius had given the king notice concerning the money that he was told of, he called for Heliodorus, who had the charge over his affairs, and sent him with commission to bring him the foresaid money. So Heliodorus forthwith began his journey, under a colour of visiting the cities of Celesyria and Phenicia, but indeed to fulfil the king's purpose. And when he was come to Jerusalem, and had been courteously received in the city by the high priest, he told him what information had been given concerning the money: and declared the cause for which he was come: and asked if these things were so indeed. Then the high priest told him that these were sums deposited, and provisions for the subsistence of the widows and the fatherless: And that some part of that which wicked Simon had given intelligence of belonged to Hircanus, son of Tobias, a man of great dignity; and that the whole was four hundred talents of silver, and two hundred of gold. But that to deceive them who had trusted to the place and temple which is honoured throughout the whole world, for the reverence and holiness of it, was a thing which could not by any means be done. But he, by reason of the orders he had received from the king, said, that by all means the money must be carried to the king. So on the day he had appointed, Heliodorus entered in to order this matter. But there was no small terror throughout the whole city. And the priests prostrated themselves before the altar in their priests' vestments, and called upon him from heaven, who made the law concerning things given to be kept, that he would preserve them safe, for them that had deposited them. Now whosoever saw the countenance of the high priest, was wounded in heart: for his face, and the changing of his colour, declared the inward sorrow of his mind. For the man was so compassed with sadness and horror of the body, that it was manifest to them that beheld him, what sorrow he had in his heart. Others also came flocking together out of their houses, praying and making public supplication, because the place was like to come into contempt. And the women, girded with haircloth about their breasts, came together in the streets. And the virgins also that were shut up, came forth, some to Onias, and some to the walls, and others looked out of the windows. And all holding up their hands towards heaven made supplication. For the expectation of the mixed multitude, and of the high priest, who was in an agony, would have moved any one to pity. And these indeed called upon almighty God, to preserve the things that had been committed to them safe and sure for those that had committed them.” (2 Machabees 3:1-22, DR)Heliodorus Is Struck by God 3:23-40“But Heliodorus executed that which he had resolved on, himself being present in the same place with his guard about the treasury. But the spirit of the Almighty God gave a great evidence of his presence, so that all that had presumed to obey him, falling down by the power of God, were struck with fainting and dread. For there appeared to them a horse, with a terrible rider upon him, adorned with a very rich covering: and he ran fiercely and struck Heliodorus with his fore feet, and he that sat upon him seemed to have armour of gold. Moreover there appeared two other young men, beautiful and strong, bright and glorious, and in comely apparel: who stood by him, on either side, and scourged him without ceasing with many stripes. And Heliodorus suddenly fell to the ground, and they took him up, covered with great darkness, and having put him into a litter, they carried him out. So he that came with many servants, and all his guard, into the aforesaid treasury, was carried out, no one being able to help him, the manifest power of God being known. And he indeed, by the power of God, lay speechless, and without all hope of recovery. But they praised the Lord, because he had glorified his place: and the temple, that a little before was full of fear and trouble, when the Almighty Lord appeared, was filled with joy and gladness. Then some of the friends of Heliodorus forthwith begged of Onias, that he would call upon the Most High to grant him his life, who was ready to give up the ghost. So the high priest, considering that the king might perhaps suspect that some mischief had been done to Heliodorus by the Jews, offered a sacrifice of health for the recovery of the man. And when the high priest was praying, the same young men in the same clothing stood by Heliodorus, and said to him: Give thanks to Onias the priest: because for his sake the Lord hath granted thee life. And thou having been scourged by God, declare unto all men the great works and the power of God. And having spoken thus, they appeared no more. So Heliodorus, after he had offered a sacrifice to God, and made great vows to him, that had granted him life, and given thanks to Onias, taking his troops with him, returned to the king. And he testified to all men the works of the great God, which he had seen with his own eyes. And when the king asked Heliodorus, who might be a fit man to be sent yet once more to Jerusalem, he said: If thou hast any enemy, or traitor to thy king dom, send him thither, and thou shalt receive him again scourged, if so be he escape: for there is undoubtedly in that place a certain power of God. For he that hath his dwelling in the heavens, is the visitor and protector of that place, and he striketh and destroyeth them that come to do evil to it. And the things concerning Heliodorus, and the keeping of the treasury, fell out in this manner.”(2 Machabees 3:23-40, DR)
