Bloom Where You Are Planted
“Wherever You Go In Life, There You Are.” –Steven Wright……So Bloom Where You Are.It’s not what happens to you, it is what you do with what happens to you that defines us! Through pleasure or pain stay humble, sincere, and at all times honor and glorify God! Your works and the world of those around you will all be the better for it! St. Therese of Lisseaux says God’s light shines equally on the tallest of trees or the lowliest little flower on the floor of the Forest! So stop wishing you are something you are not, and stop worrying about what you have or don’t have! Either offer up your suffering or count your blessings or both and let God’s light shine through you so you can bloom and blossom with Godly fragrance and Heavenly Beauty! Shine on, child of God, and remember, it’s not where you are, it’s where you are going! Heaven awaits you, heaven is in you!“…for behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:21.

Fearless and Faithful
Fearless And Faithful…Shine Your Light And Look Towards The Dawn Avoid these periphery sins:Fear and worry on one sidePride and arrogance on the otherOur body is a temple of God and the spirit of God dwells within us!Keep it spotless – through honest self-assessment, prayers of repentance and a sincere and frequent sacrament of confessionProtect it – Pray unceasinglyStrengthen it – body of Christ in the sacrament of the Holy EucbaristForge it in Fire with the Holy SpiritMake it a pillar of light and Love – share your faith in your word and in your good works and in your prayers for others!Make it an impenetrable fortressConsecrated in Christ and giving back to God what he gave to us – our free will and our spirit Remembering always the example of our Lords passionDo not yield to the Spirit that is Not if God – Choose Truth always over SensationBe Fearless and Faithful, Selfless and Humble“Finally, brethren, be strengthened in the Lord, and in the might of his power. Put you on the armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the deceits of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places. Finally, brethren, be strengthened in the Lord, and in the might of his power. Therefore take unto you the armour of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and to stand in all things perfect. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of justice, And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace: In all things taking the shield of faith, wherewith you may be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the most wicked one. And take unto you the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit (which is the word of God). By all prayer and supplication praying at all times in the spirit; and in the same watching with all instance and supplication for all the saints!”Ephesians 6:10-18

Care of Creation
Care For Creation…All Of It I hear of so many who have dedicated themselves to save the environment, and the planet and rightly so!But we must always remember and honor and praise the “creator” of all that we have! We must give glory to the creator for all the gifts and beauty God gave us and we must know that all the beauty and things of this world were given so that we can “unite” with him! We must also always remember the “greatest gift” our creator has given us! The gift of life itself! We must always hold a life as the most sacred creation God gives us! We cannot destroy the Greatest gift of God!And we must “never forget” the “ultimate gift” God gives to us for the salvation of the world when he gave us his only son our Lord! “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”John 3:16

Wind In Your Sails
“…Every Time It Rains, It Rains Pennies From Heaven. Don’t You Know Each Cloud Contains Pennies From Heaven? You’ll Find Your Fortune Falling All Over The Town. Just Be Sure That Your Umbrella Is Upside Down…” –Frank Sinatra The Trim of the Sail, not the direction of the Breeze, that sets the destination of the Craft! In life it is not what happens to us, it is what we do with what happens to us that determines our fate!We live in a world where we face headwinds, and lately, they seem to be going in the wrong direction. In the world of sailing, we adjust our sails and “tack” not taking the wind head-on but working somewhat diagonally and zig-zagging our way into the wind to ultimately reach our destination! Why is it most people seem to “expect” a constant tailwind when in reality that can only happen 25% of the time? When we “expect” certain outcomes, frustration and anger are going to come with it! When we dwell on the headwinds, sometimes of gale force, we lose the opportunity to adjust our sails and make some headway! The winds of change are constant! But if we maintain our “True North” and never lose sight of our destination we can find that shore! “Jesus answered, ;I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” John 14:6. Here’s to clear sailing!

Finding Your Blind Spot
We Can’t Know What We Don’t See. What Are Our Optics? There is a very cool online test to find your blind spot in each eye! I suggest you check this out sometime:https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=1&ved=2ahUKEwi_wenlyv3bAhWk8oMKHQ21AH0QFjAAegQIBBAB&url=https%3A%2F%2Fvisionaryeyecare.wordpress.com%2F2008%2F08%2F04%2Feye-test-find-your-blind-spot-in-each-eye%2Famp%2F&usg=AOvVaw21s0noa3IjxFNye8_MKwxY An awareness that you have a blind spot and compensating for it is so important that it is required for driving when changing lanes to avoid serious accidents or death! When we don’t “shoulder check” to cover the blind spot we could side swipe another vehicle that is out of our peripheral vision! It involves “turning our head” in the direction we wish to turn to make sure no traffic is there but unseen! How many times in our haste or without intention do we get “blind sided” by something we never saw coming! Granted some tragedies happen that cannot be avoided, but situational awareness and turning your head in the direction you want to go can be a lifesaver at times! Where is the blind spot in your spiritual life?? We all have one! If you truly wish to turn back to God, or seek him as your destination then you should also anticipate through the same situational awareness any blindspot that needs to be overcome to get you where you want to go! Blind spots are almost always close to you and often right next to you! Remember also it doesn’t take much to “derail” you from your path if you are “bumped” or side swiped from your left or your right! Creating good “spiritual” driving habits is always the best way to avoid this danger! That involves knowing where you are going and turning your head and expanding your spiritual field of vision! Using your rear view mirror is not enough! Turning your eyes to scripture is a great way to steer you in the right direction, and make sure you don’t crash and burn!
