A book of prayers to the Holy Face of Jesus

9/9/22  Our Lord will rise up and bring to ashes anything that is unclean and impure! He will purify his temple!   1 Peter 2:1-10 (DR)The Living Stone and A Chosen People  “Wherefore laying away all malice and all guile and dissimulations and envies and all detractions,   As newborn babes, desire the rational milk without guile, that thereby you may grow unto salvation: If so be you have tasted that the Lord is sweet.   Unto whom coming, as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men but chosen and made honourable by God:   Be you also as living stones built up, a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.  Wherefore it is said in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious.   And he that shall believe in him shall not be confounded. To you therefore that believe, he is honour:   but to them that believe not, the stone which the builders rejected, the same is made the head of the corner:   And a stone of stumbling and a rock of scandal, to them who stumble at the word, neither do believe, whereunto also they are set.   But you are a chosen generation, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a purchased people: that you may declare his virtues, who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:   Who in times past were not a people: but are now the people of God.   Who had not obtained mercy: but now have obtained mercy.” 

9/8/22  Live in love.  Or die in desperation.    True Love can only be a  Self sacrificing love.  To give all,  For all,  As Christ on the Cross!  This is our destiny!  Love conquers fear.  Love conquers sin and death.  Love accomplishes all.  Death and desperation awaits all others.  If there is no love, there is no faith.  If there is no faith, there is no trust in God.  When God is not trusted he does not make his presence known.  And the evil one who brings only sin and death leads you astray.  The fate of desperation and death awaits those who do not seek to live in the life and the love of God.    Psalms 105:3-4 (NRSV)Glory in his Holy Name;    let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.Seek the Lord and his strength;    seek his presence continually.   

9/6/22  There is no Kingdom without the Cross!  Seek first, Christ on Calvary.  Contemplate and carry the Cross.  Perfect Charity knows Christ perfectly,  In the tree of the Cross!  A new life in the Spirit, In harmony with Jesus,  Must ascend through self sacrificing love!   The purification and sanctification of the soul.  Must acknowledge the wounds of love!  To manifest in the Divinity of love.  The worldly passions can never fully acknowledge this.  Heart, Mind, Soul, and Spirit must ascend beyond the body.  Divine love reveals the weakness of the world.  The shallowness of the passions and desires of the world and the body.  We must become the spiritual body of Christ Crucified.  To become the spiritual body of Christ Resurrected.  A spiritual oneness in the Divine love of Christ.  God’s Kingdom revealed,  On Earth as it is in Heaven!   1 Corinthians 1:18 (DR)   For the word of the cross, to them indeed that perish, is foolishness;but to them that are saved, that is, to us, it is the power of God. 

​9/4/22  Discipleship and evangelism isn’t boldly pointing out the way or the faults,  No it’s being a living example of Serenity and joy.  By living out the power of prayer  Of charity and of quiet perseverance  We intercede 1st by example.  By the experience of someone else’s eye of what Serenity, joy, and peace looks and feels like!  By what their visible and experiential senses allow them to see in you!  That is a listening ear,  That is the light of Christ and his Power through our words and actions.  That is by miraculous accomplishments in a world that has no hope!  Become Christlike so that others come to know him in you!  By you seeking the purity and innocence in them, the light of Christ is revealed!   sPhillipians 2:12-18 (DR)Shining as Lights in the World“Wherefore, my dearly beloved, (as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only but much more now in my absence) with fear and trembling work out your salvation.   For it is God who worketh in you, both to will and to accomplish, according to his good will.   And do ye all things without murmurings and hesitations:   That you may be blameless and sincere children of God, without reproof, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation: among whom you shine as lights in the world. Holding forth the word of life to my glory in the day of Christ: because I have not run in vain, nor laboured in vain. Yea, and if I be made a victim upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice and congratulate with you all.  And for the selfsame thing, do you also rejoice and congratulate with me.”  

9/3/22  Remind them  Awaken them  Enlighten them  Introduce them  To the ever present and omnipotent God who created them  Who loves them beyond measure  Who seeks to reunite them  Hear me all you lost souls You blinded ones  You wandering and prideful souls  Hear me all you fearful ones  You stiff necked   You darkened and uncircumcised at heart  The God above you  Still loves you  But you have chosen Godlessness   And Satan rules you  In fear, oppression and chaos  Do you not tire of your suffering?  Do you not tire of the pain and the torment of the tyrants and the wicked who hold you hostage to your passions and your pride?  Do you seek peace?  Love?  Unity?  It can only come with God!  Wake up and find your way back home.  Repent and seek the Face of God!  Ignite the light of Christ within you!  And look no further than the tabernacle and the Eucharist Leave hate and hatred to it’s own destruction Open your eyes and your heartsIgnite the Flame of love that burns within youThe light of Christ revealedTurn up the Flame  so that even the shadow of darkness is turned backSeek the Face and the Heart of Jesus Christ revealed in the Eucharist! O Heart of Mary, be my loveO Heart of Jesus my SalvationWander no more in darkness and sinLet the light of Christ become a burning torch in my heartAnd the Holy Face be my guideThat I may walk in the light of his countenance Mercy goes before the Face of GodSalvation awaits those that seek it!  Romans 10:9-11 (DR)"For if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thy heart that God hath raised him up from the dead, thou shalt be saved.For, with the heart, we believe unto justice: but, with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.For the scripture saith: Whosoever believeth in him shall not be confounded."
